Day 1: Arrival in Port Blair & Cellular Jail Light and Sound Show
Arrive at Veer Savarkar International Airport, Port Blair, where our travel executive will greet and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, begin your exploration with a visit to the Cellular Jail, also known as Kala Pani. Constructed by the British in 1906, this historic prison stands as a testament to the sacrifices of Indian freedom fighters. In the evening, witness the poignant Light and Sound Show that narrates the tales of the prison’s dark past. Overnight stay in Port Blair.
Day 2: North Bay Island (Coral Island) & Ross Island
After breakfast, embark on a 20-minute speedboat ride to North Bay Island, renowned for its vibrant coral reefs. Engage in activities like Snorkeling, scuba diving, and sea walking to explore the underwater world. The iconic lighthouse here is featured on the Indian ₹20 currency note. Later, visit Ross Island, the erstwhile capital during British rule, to see the remnants of colonial architecture and interact with the island’s wildlife, including deer and peacocks. Return to Port Blair for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep) & Radhanagar Beach
Set sail for Havelock Island, a 2-hour journey across the Andaman Sea. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation and head to Radhanagar Beach, acclaimed as one of Asia’s best beaches. The beach boasts white sands, clear waters, and gentle waves, making it ideal for swimming. Enjoy a leisurely evening by the beach before retiring for the night.
Day 4: Elephant Beach & Kalapathar
Today, embark on a boat ride or a scenic trek to Elephant Beach, known for its shallow waters and vibrant coral reefs. Engage in snorkeling, sea walking, or simply relax on the beach. The reef here starts close to shore at a depth of about 1 meter, making it suitable for beginners. After a day of activities, evening visit to Kala Pathar Beach is situated at the far end of Havelock Island, away from the main settlements, making it a peaceful and less crowded destination. Known for its pristine white sand and tranquil surroundings, this beach is a perfect spot for photography enthusiasts and those who enjoy long, leisurely walks along the coastline. The absence of mobile network coverage here ensures a complete break from the digital world, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in nature and escape everyday stresses. Whether you want to relax, explore, or create lasting memories, Kala Pathar Beach offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and tranquility. return to Havelock Island for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep)
Take a morning ferry to Neil Island, famous for its serene beaches and lush greenery. Visit Lakshmanpur and Bharatpur beaches, and marvel at the natural rock formation known as the Natural Bridge. These untouched beaches offer a tranquil retreat amidst nature. Enjoy a peaceful evening on the island before staying overnight.
Day 6: Return to Port Blair & Chidiyatapu
Catch a morning ferry back to Port Blair and check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Chidiya Tapu, a birdwatcher’s paradise. The area is home to a wide range of flora and fauna and dense forests. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the tropical forests and relax on the beach. Witness a mesmerizing sunset over the Andaman Sea before returning to Port Blair for the night.
Day 7: Baratang Island Exploration
Embark on an early morning journey to Baratang Island, approximately 105 km from Port Blair. The route takes you through dense tropical rainforests and creeks. Visit the exotic Limestone Caves and take a speedboat ride through the dense mangrove forests. Baratang offers an ideal setting for eco-tourism, with its virgin nature and solitude. Return to Port Blair in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 8: Ross and Smith Islands
Travel to Diglipur and take a speedboat to Ross and Smith Islands, connected by a natural sandbar. During low tide, the sandbar emerges, allowing you to walk between the two islands. Enjoy the pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and abundant marine life. These islands are part of the Ritchie’s Archipelago and offer a unique experience. Return to Diglipur for an overnight stay.
Day 9: Return to Port Blair via Rangat
Begin your journey back to Port Blair via the Andaman Trunk Road. En route, stop at Austin Bridge, which connects North and Middle Andaman. Continue to Dhani Nallah, a mangrove forest with a wooden walkway leading to a beautiful beach. The area is perfect for photography enthusiasts. A few miles from Dhani Nallah is Amkunj Beach, a serene spot to relax before continuing your journey. Arrive in Port Blair by evening and check in to your hotel.
Day 10: Mount Harriet National Park & Flag Point
In the morning, visit Mount Harriet National Park, the highest peak in South Andaman. The park offers panoramic views of Port Blair, Ross Island, and Havelock Island. Embark on a nature trail to Madhuban, observing rare flora and fauna along the way. In the afternoon, Located in the heart of Port Blair near Marina Park, Flag Point is a place of immense national pride and historical significance. It marks the site where Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose hoisted the Indian national flag for the first time on Indian soil on 30th December 1943, symbolizing the declaration of Andaman & Nicobar Islands as the first Indian territory freed from British rule. A tall, majestic flagpole stands proudly, offering a panoramic view of the sea and the surrounding landscape. The area has been beautifully developed as a tribute to India’s freedom fighters, and visiting it is a moment of reflection and patriotism. The site is especially stunning during sunset, making it an ideal spot for both history lovers and photographers.
Return to Port Blair for the night.
Day 11: Departure
Conclude your Andaman adventure with a transfer to Veer Savarkar International Airport for your onward journey. Reflect on the rich history, diverse ecosystems, and unforgettable experiences that the Andaman and Nicobar Islands have offered.
